To Our Hotel Guests

The COVID-19 outbreak has brought increasing levels of concern surrounding public health, and it is now time for us to act. At Ivy House, our main priority is making sure we look after and protect all of our beloved guests and staff. Like everyone, we have been keeping a close eye on the news, and in light of government advice this week, we had already decided to temporarily close the hotel which has now been confirmed by the government. Whilst this is very sad and disappointing for all of our guests it is clearly in the interest of public health to do so and nothing is more important than that, in particular our responsibilities to the elderly and the vulnerable.

We anticipate that we will remain closed for possibly up to three months but will of course review the situation on a regular basis, as further government advice emerges.

We are still taking bookings for the hotel from July 1st, however, please note that this is under constant review in accordance with the government guidelines and make change at short notice.

Lastly, thank you to all of our wonderful staff and customers who have supported Ivy House. In what is an unprecedented situation, our plan is to weather this storm, and look after our staff as best we can. Rest assured we will be back to serve the local community as soon as we can and look forward to opening our doors again to you when things improve.
